1. Introduction

Welcome to Universal Getaways Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and interactions with our travel company. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.
 

2. Services Provided

We provide travel-related services including but not limited to tour packages, accommodation bookings, transportation arrangements, and travel advisory services. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
 

3. Booking & Payments

3.1 Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment and issuance of a confirmation invoice.
 

3.2 Payment Terms

Deposits are generally non-refundable. Full payment must be made before the specified deadline. Failure to pay may result in cancellation.
 

3.3 Pricing

Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, supplier costs, or government taxes.
 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Customer Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility depends on timing and supplier policies.
 

4.2 Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable. Partial refunds may apply depending on cancellation timing. Refunds are processed within 7–30 business days.
 

4.3 Company Cancellations

We may cancel trips due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or unforeseen events. Customers will be offered a refund or rescheduling.
 

5. Travel Documents & Requirements

Customers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and health requirements. We are not liable for denied travel due to incomplete documentation.
 

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. We are not responsible for medical emergencies, cancellations, or loss of belongings.
 

7. Liability & Responsibility

7.1 Third-Party Providers

We act as an agent for airlines, hotels, and transport providers and are not liable for their actions.
 

7.2 Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, damage, delays, or disruptions caused by external factors.
 

8. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to safety, operational, or environmental reasons.
 

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information, comply with laws, and behave respectfully.
 

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest.
 

11. Complaints

Complaints must be reported during the trip or within 14 days after completion.
 

12. Privacy Policy

Customer data will be used solely for booking and communication purposes.
 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
 

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
